Learning boiling Spanish
Gastronomy is an important part of Spanish culture.
A foreign language is best learned using all your senses: hearing, seeing feeling, smelling and tasting. During Español Universal’s cooking workshops, we will prepare various Spanish specialties in collaboration with different parties while learning many Spanish words and phrases. All with Español Universal‘s secret ingredient: lots of humor.
*Workshop making pintxos in Haarlem*
A 1.5-hour workshop: learn to prepare authentic Basque pintxos under the guidance of a Spanish chef while learning new Spanish vocabulary under the guidance of Spanish teacher Débora López Rodríguez.
What are we going to do?
- Participants make 4 different pintxos after the chef demonstrates; meanwhile, he talks about ingredients and techniques.
- During the workshop you will receive a complimentary glass of wine!
- Learn and practice new vocabulary with the Spanish teacher.
- The one who makes the most beautiful pintxo wins a bottle of wine for home.
- Everyone receives an authentic recipe card with vocabulary and exercises.
